Terms of Service
Last updated: June 05, 2026
1. Introduction
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the InQuote platform (“Service”), operated by InQuote, a Belgian company offering a software-as-a-service invoicing and quoting platform. By creating an account or otherwise using the Service, you agree to these Terms and our linked Privacy Policy.
2. Service and scope
InQuote lets teams build quotes and invoices, generate documents, send and manage documents, integrate with connected tools, and use assisted workflows including AI features and MCP-based automations. The Service includes both the core web app and related APIs and integrations.
3. Account, eligibility, and security
You must be legally capable of entering into contracts. You are responsible for maintaining secure access credentials, controlling who in your organisation can access your account, and promptly reporting any suspected compromise.
4. Fees and payments
Billing is based on your selected subscription plan, usage level, and agreed terms shown in the Service and checkout flow. All card and payment processing is handled by Stripe. You authorize recurring payment collection where applicable, and InQuote may suspend access for unpaid invoices after notices and within reason under anti-abuse controls.
5. Data roles and customer responsibilities
You retain ownership of your business data and content you upload or generate in the Service (“Customer Content”). For Customer Content and operational business data, InQuote processes as a data processor on your instructions. For operational account, billing, and service-security data, InQuote acts as a controller where required by law.
You are responsible for ensuring data you input and share respects applicable laws and third-party rights. You are responsible for configuring who can access shared links, PINs, and email allowlists.
5.1 Website import and company representations
During onboarding and company setup, you may import suggestions from publicly available website pages. You represent that information you enter or import is accurate and that you are authorised to use the website, branding, and company details on invoices, quotes, and other documents issued through the Service.
InQuote does not verify website ownership or the accuracy of imported public content. Imported suggestions are provided for convenience only and may be incomplete or incorrect. You must review all fields before sending documents to clients or authorities.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, you indemnify and hold InQuote harmless from claims, losses, and costs arising from your unauthorised use of third-party websites, branding, or content, or from inaccurate company information you submit or import.
6. Acceptable use
You may use the Service only lawfully and for legitimate business operations. You must not abuse API access, attempt unauthorized access, disrupt service availability, upload malware, or use the Service to generate content that violates law or third-party rights.
For integrations and exports, you must only connect accounts you are authorized to use and you remain responsible for outputs sent to third parties through those connected services.
7. Sharing controls, AI, and tooling boundaries
InQuote enables optional sharing via links, PINs, and email allowlists. You control the confidentiality settings and are responsible for communicating recipients and access restrictions correctly.
AI-assisted drafting, summaries, and chat features are productivity tools. They do not replace professional legal, tax, or accounting judgment. You should verify critical outputs before sending to clients.
8. Service reliability and suspension
We strive for service continuity but may temporarily restrict or suspend access for security incidents, abuse, unpaid plans, or compliance reasons. We may also suspend features tied to integrations when credentials are revoked, scopes change, or external provider policies require it.
9. Termination and post-termination handling
You may close your account at any time. On termination, we will follow the retention and deletion commitments set in the Privacy Policy. In practice, core business records may remain available where required by law, while inactive data is removed according to configured cleanup and backup practices.
10. Limitation of liability and disclaimers
The Service is provided as-is and subject to availability, uptime controls, and platform updates. To the maximum extent permitted by law, InQuote's liability for all claims is limited to the total fees paid in the 12 months before the claim (or zero for unpaid accounts). The Service is not legal, accounting, or tax advice and you should review outputs with qualified professionals.
11. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by Belgian law. The courts of Brussels, Belgium have jurisdiction, unless mandatory consumer law gives you additional protections.
